After checking the attendance of each class, Mr. Ebi gives as a brief instruction on what we are going to do. A few minutes after we are now ready to proceed to our destination. The friendly Barangay of Malvar, Guest what? We are going to do the so called “Walkaton”.Yes, we walk, some are happy and some are confusing because, we are going to walk instead of riding a tricycle, some said as I heard “what a waste of time and energy” I think while walking, this simple quote bother my mind, why thus this student need to say it after all she’s wearing a NSTP t-shirt and going to have community service. As I continue walking I think again and reflect to myself, we are walking not to waste a time and energy we are walking to help, have fun and enjoyment while helping a community. To walk we need a step and to serve we need to sacrifice. Upon reaching the barangay, we prepared all the needed materials, we cleaned the venue, arrange the chairs for our Seminar and prepare all the foods for the feeding program.
